BIO
Marta Lonardi is an italian illustrator and art therapist based in Modena (right now).
Marta Lonardi was born in Mantua in 1993. She has always followed and pursued her passion for image and storytelling. She first attended the Giulio Romano Art High School and then continued his university studies in communication and visual design in Urbino, where she attended Isia (Higher Institute for Artistic Industries). During the three-year period, Marta develops technical and expressive skills that direct her towards the study of illustration. She finishes the university course through the thesis in visual anthropology entitled "Near representation", confronting the Research Group of Ethno-Anthropology of Bologna; a study on the relations of perception and representation within the San Donato district of Bologna. He continues to cultivate interest in illustration and starts working for studies, associations and private individuals in the Mantuan area such as Agape, Slow Food Mantua and Creative Mantua. Meanwhile, driven by the interest of being able to use the image as a communication channel and source of relationship with the Other, she enters the specialization school of Art Therapy in Bologna, through which she discovers and refines a new way of investigating and giving life to images, more introspective and aimed at developing more aware relationships with themselves and with the contexts in which we are inserted. Marta collaborates with the children's neuropsychiatry departments of Bologna and then dedicates herself to the conduct of artistic ateliers at the Bucaneve Cooperative in Castel Goffredo.
She deeply believes in the power of art and continues to explore its different languages; from 2017 he exhibits his personal works in various exhibitions and galleries and from 2019 he is part of the LAN-DE-SÌ artistic collective, with which she created the sets and the animated video of the children's show entitled "Tra (me) – Orphan stories looking for a voice".
Together with the actresses and actors of the Collective, they experience creative processes aimed at both the production of performances and performances (from the hall and on the street) and expressive paths aimed at girls and boys starting from 3 years, in which to combine the different languages of art visual and body use.
Marta continues her artistic research moving between her personal process and a process that is both social, collective, made up of exchanges and relationships.
She is currently attending the Ars in fabula master in editorial illustration, looking for what will come next.
